VISION TO EARTH
At Greenwald Shtemerman, we envision, plan, and design landscapes in context, out of an ambition to balance the nature of a location with the identity of the architecture and the lifestyle of the people who inhabit it.
We draw up plans at different scales, from compact municipal parks to expansive rural sites. Each project is crafted with utmost care to unveil and reflect the genius loci – the spirit of the place.
VISION TO EARTH Our planning is founded upon an investigation of the unique narrative of each
project. In this way, we uncover a design, rooted in the on-site patterns and testifying to the
local context, and create residential landscapes that connect people with place and with Nature.
We work collaboratively, in and out of the studio, and take responsibility to do everything that needs doing in any situation. We constantly strive to meet all expectations. These core values speak to our desire to be truly attentive, to reflect the nature of the site and to connect people with the Land and with each place. We are immensely grateful to have been part of some of Israel’s loveliest and most complex projects.
Every single project is embarked on by listening, observing, and exploring the connections between human, built-environment, and natural systems.
Within these complex relationships, we apply an ecological approach to design that encourages spatial innovation, as well as connection to the people who inhabit it, uncovering the inherent value of the site, and creating connection through materiality that is tied to this context. We blur the distinction between architecture and landscape, and amplify this interplay of structure and nature.
Conveying our intent from concept to completion is crucial to ensuring that our design vision is realized in every single way, from large-scale gestures to the little details experienced in everyday life.
We view both the technical and artistic aspect of spatial planning as one.
